Powerlinez, NY is a compact bouldering area, with some of its boulders situated directly beneath transmission lines and accessed via a moderate approach. Located about an hour from Midtown Manhattan, it’s significantly closer than the Gunks and roughly 30 minutes closer than Ice Pond, while still offering over 100 problems across a broad grade range.

Powerlinez Bouldering

Start on the crack with hands placed slightly wider than shoulder width, then make a big move to the next hold up left. The vertical crack to the left of the start is off.
